version 2.0 Launched
The
long awaited update to your favourite voice over IP system
has been released. Skype 2 offers improved voice data integrity
and the addition of video. It also boasts a new way to group
contacts and better integration for web sites utilising Skype.

The
BBC have finally got some forward motion on licensing issues
and have made available to the public domain 80 pivotal News
stories over the last 50 years.

If
you have ever fancied trying some of the best virtual O/S
software available, VMware have just released Vmware player.
This version restricts you to standard installations of operating
systems but allows full beta software testing of applications.
Watch
out for .eu fraud
The
body which controls the .eu registration, EURid warns against
business fraud. You can only pre-register the name before
the official launch on the 7th of April 2006 if you are a
public bodies or trademark holder. If you do not do not fall
into either of theses categories our advice is to wait and
ignore any companys offering early registration.
